A medium sized Magpie handcrafted from salvaged materials and my special paper mache mix.  I don't know what all the fuss is about saying they are unlucky - they are beautiful creatures and very clever and I'm often pleased to see a flash of their striking black and white plumage in the treetops of our garden!  The sculpture is quite robust - it's template starts with reclaimed wood built up with newspaper and my paper mache mix, with wooden feet attached to allow him to stand. The work is varnished and weather resistant for several years but may be transient outdoors longterm.  It measures 35cm high approximately.  Each piece is unique so will vary a little in appearance.  Every one is individually sculpted, handpainted and decoupaged with an am using snippet from a magazine. Ask me about personalisation for your outlet or region - there is space for a few bespoke words on it's body.  It's best to leave four weeks for delivery but please get in touch if you need it sooner as I may have some already in stock.
